FRUiTS was a Japanese monthly street fashion magazine founded in 1997 by photographer Shoichi Aoki. Born on the streets of Harajuku, FRUiTS documented people, style, and subcultures—long before “streetwear” became a global industry. With its raw portraits, obsessive attention to detail, and complete absence of trends or branding logic, the magazine became a cult archive of youth identity, self-expression, and visual rebellion.
