Directed by Harmony Korine, Julien Donkey-Boy (1999) is one of the most polarizing and visceral experiments in American independent cinema. The film follows Julien (Ewen Bremner), a young man with untreated schizophrenia, and his family: his pregnant sister Pearl (Chloë Sevigny), his aspiring wrestler brother Chris (Evan Neumann), and their terrifying father (played by legendary director Werner Herzog).
